- Asian Development Bank
(CPS) of Asian Development Bank for Pakistan is made to support the government of Pakistan to enhance the developmental works throughout the country, increasing of productivity and to broaden pubic services. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank has showed interest to finance infrastructure projects in Pakistan in different sectors i.e. Energy, Transport, Seaport and urban Development. This bank has declared that Pakistan has a great potential in the sector of infrastructure and are looking forward to invest in Pakistan in different sectors.
Projects of AIIB in Pakistan.
- The Project, to be co-financed with the World Bank (WB), comprises the installation of a power house at the fifth tunnel (Tunnel 5) of the Tarbela Dam, and construction of a transmission line to connect the power to the national grid.
- AIIB approved a loan of $100 million for the National Motorway M-4 (Shorkot-Khanewal Section) Project. This Project is co financed by the Asian Development Bank, which contributed $100 million, for a total project cost of $273 million which will help achieve an efficient and safer transport corridor between Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Multan, ensuring enhanced connectivity between the various parts of Pakistan.
